Trade Shows
All over the country

Computer trade shows were a large part of Digital Vision's marketing effort. Our products were ideally suited for the trade show environment because they were so visual. A spreadsheet program doesn't have nearly the visual appeal of a product that can capture an image of a person walking by and display it on a computer screen or print it out on paper, using ordinary low-cost computer equipment.

The company started with a corner in a distributor's booth, and then got its own rather hand-made 10' x 10' booth, before finally getting a full 10' x 20' professional booth with purpose-made shipping crates. We participated in many types of trade shows — educational, computer-specific (Applefest, Commodore, and Atari shows), and general electronics shows (Consumer Electronics Show, Comdex).
